Project with Lotherton Hall
The Khushi group worked in partnership with Gabrielle Hamilton, Community History Curator abd Sharon Woodcock on a project with Lotherton Hall. The group of 12 women were consulted on their ideas for multicultural textile art work. Now displayed at the Lotherton Hall. Edward Torsney produced a DVD. It demonstrates what can be achieved by working across cultures and languages using creative design.
Partnership with Chapletown Library
12 women are attending ESOL classes run by Bernadette Azari and Bronwyn at Chapletown libary on Tuesdays.
The women have enjoyed the sessions on Creative writing.
