Sahara

Sahara is an emergency tier refuge that offers safe supported accommodation to black women with children, single black women and white women with black children, all of whom are experiencing or fleeing domestic violence.

HALT Domestic Violence (Help, Advice and the Law Team) offers information, advice, advocacy and support to women who have experienced violence from a man they know. We support women through the court system and/or explore legal options.

DIAL (Disablement Information and Advice Line)

DIAL is a national organisation for a network of 160 local Disability Information and Advice Line services (DIALs) run by and for disabled people. Last year DIALs helped over a quarter of a million disabled people.

Advocacy and interpreting service

The advocacy and interpreting service offers advocacy and interpreting through outreach work, surgeries in community venues and home visits to potential users. In particular they aim to help people from Pakistani, Bengali and Chinese communities.
