The Drop in Service offers therapeutic sessions, crèche, welfare benefits advocacy and telephone help line support.
The service continues to promote social participation by encouraging attending educational classes on learning English as a second language, computer classes, digital photography, food hygiene, careers and a training programme on volunteering. All these have helped to increase self confidence, build self esteem and create possibilities of social networks. All the projects at Dosti are monitored and consistently evaluated in order to improve services in line with the quality assurance framework. Our service is inclusive in order to reduce stigma and discrimination within the local community, to support integration and aid recovery of women with mental health issues.
The support that is offered is based around a philosophy of empowerment, individual choice, and sensitivity to the particular needs and different cultures of women. Our User Forums at Dosti are clear examples of initiatives which allow individuals to take control over their care and future.

Healthy Eating
At the Drop in Service, Asian women benefit from a healthy vegetarian meal for lunch.
